Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AnesCalc application and website at anescalc.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AnesCalc is a clinical decision-support tool that provides anaesthesia dosing calculations and reference information. It is provided for use by qualified, licensed medical professionals only.

2. Medical disclaimer — advisory use only

Important: All calculations, doses, and information provided by AnesCalc are advisory only and must be independently verified by a qualified clinician before being acted upon. AnesCalc does not provide medical advice, is not a regulated medical device, and does not replace professional clinical judgement, institutional protocols, or the current approved product information for any drug.

You are solely responsible for all clinical decisions. Drug availability, concentrations, and indications vary by country — always confirm against your local formulary. AnesCalc and its creators assume no liability for patient outcomes or for any dosing or clinical error.

3. Eligibility & accounts

The Service is intended for licensed anaesthesiologists, residents, nurse anaesthetists, and supervised students. It is not intended for patients or the general public. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering.

4. Subscriptions & billing

AnesCalc offers a free tier and an optional paid "Premium" subscription. Payments are processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle handles the transaction, invoicing, and applicable taxes, and will appear on your payment statement.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reselling or redistributing access; attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service; using it unlawfully; or relying on it as a substitute for professional judgement.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its content, and its branding are owned by AnesCalc and are protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AnesCalc and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any clinical outcome, arising from your use of the Service. By using AnesCalc you accept full professional responsibility for all clinical decisions.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
